The Stone Mill

AARCH 25th anniversary celebration, inside Stone Mill

AARCH is planning the redevelopment of this 1848 stone factory building on the banks of the Ausable River in historic Keeseville. The former home of the Ausable Horse Nail Company, it was part of a complex of manufacturing enterprises that extended through the town on both sides of the river. Our headquarters is in the former company office building adjacent to the Stone Mill on Main Street.

The Stone Mill redevelopment project will also include the creation of a public park along the west side of the river through the demolition of a vacant and deteriorating warehouse. Once completed, the Park and the Stone Mill project will transform the center of Keeseville and open up greenspace along this beautiful waterfront for all to use.
